Otto Naumann received his Masters in Art History from Columbia in 1974 and his Ph.D. in Art History from Yale in 1979 and was a Professor of Art History at Boston University and the University of Delaware before leaving academe.  His catalogue of the paintings of Frans van Mieris is the standard work on the artist. Otto began his career as an art dealer in 1982, specializing in Dutch and Flemish Master paintings of the 16th & 17th centuries.  In the last decade he expanded the scope of the gallery to include a broad inventory of European Masters and, more recently, 19th century artworks.  He has handled works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, Hals, Rubens and Velazquez.
